Korg Kronos UK Availability

Post by brianh »

I have been waiting ages for the Kronos to be widely available in shops in the UK.

Does anyone know when this will happen?

My 73 has been on order since the end on July, I have been told by the shop that 61 keys are available now.

At least in the Netherlands I just bought a Kronos (not arrived yet) and I know several are being expected next week and before end of the month.

For 88, some are in stock (not many), no much news about 73 versions.

Got the call today! My K61 has arrived in store.. :3dshocked:

Driving down on Saturday to pick her up and hand in my M50-61.. Can't wait to plonk it on top of the JP-80 and route Karma thru it.

Lucky you are getting it. I'm after the 88 key version and no one in UK has it.

I got my 73 today.

The shop I used had 3 of the 73's which were back ordered. I had waited since June. Seems there is a monthly shipment around the second week of each month in the UK.

Hang on in there. It's worth waiting for. :)

Are they hoping you will accept this rather than waiting for the one you want?

I'm thinking now that it will be well into next year before I get one.
All the new Yamaha boards seem to always be in stock.

Put a deposit down on one. It won't be widely available for a good while yet. It took me 4 months from putting down a deposit. If it's a Kronos that you want, then that's how it is I'm afraid.
If you wanted a yamaha then you would go and get one. If like me, you want the Kronos. What's 4 months in the scheme of things.

Will get Kronos, just don't understand why new Yamaha boards are immediately in stock and not the Korg Kronos.
