D3200 to ProTools???

Post by alldatndensum »

I have an album recorded on my D3200 and just can't get teh mix right. I have a friend in Canada that uses ProTools and has done wonderful things with his home studio powered with ProTools. Is there a way to transfer my stuff to a format on the computer to send to him for mixing down?

Yes there is a way - by saving tracks as .wav files.

Pg88 of the manual explains that by using the export tab on the TRACK screen, (and having copied all tracks to the clipboard) you can save the multiple tracks to CD in .wav format.

Your buddy could then use those files to import into ProTools to master them for you.

Thank you so much, sir! I guess had I read the whole manual instead of just viewing what I thought I needed would have worked so much better.
