used wavestation problems

Discussion relating to all other KORG synth related products that don’t have a dedicated section. For example, OASYS PCI, M1, N Series, 01W series, T series, and more…

used wavestation problems

Post by Kozak »

Hello! I just purchased a used wavestation (av.. I guess).. It is my fist synt.
When trying to use it the only controls that worked were the Value selector which let me play 49 different sounds, and the Modulation. The rest of the controls were completely non-responsive. The screen did flash a message at one point that the Internal battery was low. I have never used a synth before and I figure that I need to change the internal battery. However, does anyone know... would this low battery problem really cause all the other buttons and controls to be non-responsive?
Hope somebody can help this novice out with some advice before I get the battery changed and there is a bigger problem with the unit I don't know.

I have no idea why you posted a question about the Wavestation in the Radias/R3 question.

I've moved this to the "Korg Synths (General)" section which is the appropriate section for synths which don't have their own section.
