Begs a good question though, if you wanted a 'traditional' minimoog lead, how would you go about? AL-1 plus a Polysix?

When the Kronos was first released I remember a company offering a free microkorg (or something similar) when you bought the Kronos.

Is that perhaps what you are referring to?

Lolz...this is funny as hell...the guy got confused even more...NO! There is
no MiniMoog in Kronos or on Top nor there ever will be one. If you wanna
recreate MiniMoog patches then its possible with the engines inside Kronos
to come close to a MiniMoog Sound. Hope that clears it for you.

I've managed to patch rough approximations of my go-to Voyager patches using AL1, FWIW.

...although my basic rig for band gigs (as opposed to the electronica) is now: Kronos and Voyager. :D

if you take a flathead screwdriver and pry up the left side panel under the pitch stick, select models have a Little Phatty module in there. There's also supposed to be a Dave Smith Tetra under the LCD. If yours doesn't, I suggest you call up Korg and complain about how you were screwed over.

FOUND IT!

But it's so dam small, I think it's a "micro"moog.

because mini's are made of micro's, which are made of nano's, which are made of pico's, which are made of femto's.
