Software update problem

Hello everybody,
I´m a new Korg user and and am having problems updating the OS. Everything seems to go swimmingly until the final stage where I press button 1 (flashing) to load the system into the SV 1. Nothing happens , it just keeps on flashing. Has anybody had a similar problem who could maybe help me. I am using Vista and am reasonably competent.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
