Need some help

Post by rbbplmr »

Wondering if anyone can give me a tip on where to start with this. I'm trying to replicate the synth arpeggiator at the beginning of this song. Is this easy to do? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QiWn--cHtmY

Thank you

Two saw waves, equal volume.

Unison: 2 voices, spread to 100, or so.

Osc1 Mod: Waveform

Set LFO1 to S&H, MIDI sync to 16ths.

Adjust OSC1 Control 2 / LFO1 modulation to about 50 or more.

Adjust OSC1 Control 1 to taste.

Virtual Patch LFO1 to Osc2 level, somewhere between 25 to 40.

This should be pretty close.

Why not ask Jesus for help? I've heard that begging for answers tends to get you them. Unless of course you didn't deserve them in the first place.

If you want a serious answer, here's how you make the sound:

Then you read the manual, then you spend a few months tweaking knobs and paying close attention to what each knob does.
