EXB m256

Post by tajna92 »

Hi Everyone!!!

I have recently purchased new korg M3 and I'm trying to find EXB m256 RAM for it...

It seems that nobody in the world has one :(

I have ordered from KOrg Usa but they told me I need to wait 8 weeks... Can you believe it??

I'm in Australia and local dealers don't have one in stock, so they need to order from USA as well, which has no point either...

So, do you USA people know any shop in USA that might have one available for shipping immediately??

Thank you all!!!!

Mhh you can try to buy it not only in U.S.A, maybe in UK, or some country nearer to Australia?
I live in Argentina, and everything I want takes time, however here we have at our ebay (is nammed mercadolibre) exb256 available, but used....
KORG USA TAKES TIME FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Good Luck and Regards!

I'm in the US and tried to find it or have a local store order it for me and couldn't. When I first found out it would take 6-8 weeks from Korg I cancelled my order then forgot about it. 10 Weeks later I re-ordered from Korg and waited the 6 weeks until it arrived. I guess my point is just order it through Korg without delay. Hopefully the time will pass quickly for you.

Don't order from Ebay! They don't have them in stock either. Just order from Korg's website. The sellers on Ebay order from the same website no matter what they say. I learned this the hard way.

Hi APEX,

I bought an M3 back in Sept of 2011, then immediately went to purchase the EXB-RADIAS and the EXB-m256. I bought the Radias from Sweetwater and the memory from Korg's fulfillment website. After a day or two I got an email from Korg that stated that the memory was on backorder for 6-8wks.

I went on EBay and found a guy saying he had the memory in stock, but it was ~$50 more. I emailed him, he assured me it was in stock, so I ordered from him and cancelled from Korg. 5 days later he emails that the memory is on back order and promptly refunds me without me even asking. Now, a week later, I place an order at Korg again, 8-10wk backorder this time. The EBay seller contacts me again saying that is distributor billed him for the memory because he forgot to cancel it. He said that they only bill him if it ships. Soooo I foolishly cancelled with Korg, and paid him again, this time at a discount. Waiting . . . waiting, turns out his distributor’s system gliched and charged him without sending the memory. He was on the same backorder. So we exchanged a few select words, but I stayed with his order so as to not get out of queue. I received my memory the week of Thanksgiving obviously packaged and labeled from Korg’s fulfillment center.

So the moral of story, it's always on backorder. Order it from Korg for $120 and wait.

Best,

Mort
