I decided to Do NOT USE the editor, message for KORG

Post by afr »

I waited long time for this PC editor, OK the editing on Kronos is not too bad but of course the editor could be helpfull and that's the reason why I was happy when it comes available

But, unfortunately in the end I remained disapponted, apart the ridiculous look, is very slow, no sampling page ( clavia offers the sample editor that is very very nice for sample editing and management), IFX management not complete as in the kronos, no resizable screen

So something really useless.

I would like to read some intervention from korg people just to know why they decide to release a crappy software, Korg spent a lot of work to release new soundware, maybe becouse is NOT FREE = BUSINESS?

Please guys, try to make something serious, I'm korg user since the time of 01/Wfd and passing for trinity/triton and m3, never never had nothing to complain

With kronos instead I'm having a bad feeling, nice project on the paper but in the facts is not convinces me a lot

I think in the future before to choose a product korg again, instead of buying immediately due to the confidence that over the years the brand had been able to infuse me , after the experience with Kronos I will go much more cautious

Sorry for the bad english

I deleted it but I wasn't expecting much in the way of quality to begin with so I'm not angry about it.

Yeh I deleted mine too. Not overly bothered but more so frustrated that after all the fuss and "hoo haa" about this integrated software, in it's current form it turns out to be pretty poor, at best.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with it and had to delete it after trying it out for hours and hours. It totally slowed down my work flow. It feels like some software/hardware interaction from the mid 90s when you clicked on something, it would take a while before you get a response. I have no patience for that. Most people don't , these days. Other issues have already been stated by others, so there's no need for me to repeat them.

Maybe future releases will improve the editor. Maybe not...

I appreciate the OS upgrade though. It's really nice to be able to uninstall crap you dont' like.

Me 2..i cant see any benefit of using a clone of Kronos on a computer when it doesnt work 100% and i can do things faster on my kronos.
With my Korg R3 the editor works fine since the R3 doesnt have a reeeally big display :)
I have to admit my expectations were a bit high considering the sequencer.. :(

Ok ok..........I bought the Kronos and I have moth balled my beloved Triton.
I've had the Trinity, o1 etc....

Despite the Keybed problems and now the Editor has had mixed reviews. I can't stop waving the flag for the Kronos.
Maybe Korg have over reached themselves with a thing of two. The Oasys was to expensive.....korg have been working on the Kronos with that in mind.
We are in a recession. I have a little sympathy, I have my own little company and its tough! You have to give more, just to stand still, but with less money swishing around.

Lets imagine that there was no recession, the Oasys price was acceptable.

How much would the Kronos be? NOT £2999ish me thinks.

I accept that the forum is to highlight the good and the bad. My angle is my angle. The Kronos is a dream and for the money.... its amazing. Thanks to the Forum, we can keep sharing our individual thoughts.
