Huh?

61 micro-key, MIDI in-out... isn't this exactly what you're asking for?

As much as I love the Microkey 37, why they would make a 61 without a sustain button or line in (along with midi) is just puzzling. I just may pick up the 25 because it has the sustain button and the cool joystick. I could at least add it to the 37 to give me 61 keys and have better function and playability than using the nanokey(which I use for key-switching and functions) in conjunction. If I have five M1 LE vouchers, could I trade up for the full M1 vst?

MIDI In and Out is provided by the USB port on this series of controllers. Having the 5-pin connections would be nice, but it would also raise the price. It looks like Korg is watching their pennies here. I have the 37-key model. For what it does, its pretty good. For my purposes, MIDI over USB is fine, it is only used with my computer.

What I would like to see is Korg take the 37-key board and fuse it with the MonoTribe and put the 5-pin MIDI in and out ports on that.

That would be interesting.

You can program the modulation wheel to be the sustain. Just use the korg editor software and change the modulation wheel CC# from 01 to 64

You can also wire in a sustain pedal to the mod wheel after changing the CC # to get a sustain pedal, but some people might not want to open up their MicroKey. :)
