I had it too. Not only "Bb4" but some few higher keys as well. But I noticed there is peak signal lid up on my audio interface when it happen (Only Right channel). And not appear when I listen by headphone directly from headphone jack even I turn the volume all the way up.

In other words, at least in your case your audio interface is clipping.

I think I do hear what you mean, but it isn't real distortion. What I hear is a noise produced by a part of the actual recorded piano resonating at that frequency. Those kind of noises are pretty common on piano's, especially when mechanical parts are a bit loose and able to resonate. Didn't notice it before though, I'll check out if I can reproduce it.

Could be the 'ol forot to check the transpose option' problem.

I'm at work and can't check this, but always remember to try a reboot if things start acting Wonky. I've had 2 occasions in the last year where that solved the "problem". Haven't had any since OS 1.5 AFAIK though.

sorry i cannot reproduce it in anyways (velocity curve 4, velocity bias and intensity +100 through my headphones and my monitor)
the problem is your DAW / interface i think... or the kronos master volume is being set too high while you're recording it... (clipping problem?)
