So I called the shop yesterday, exactly two weeks since I dropped my Kronos off at the shop. They contacted the service company and came back to me.

They told me the service company had a new display in store for my Kronos. But the small rubber thingies that are used to attach the display to the Kronos were not included in the delivery of the display.

I was asked if it would be ok for me to wait a few more days. I reluctantly agreed, but the guy at the shop said that if they couldn't fix these shortly it might end up with them sending me a new Kronos instead.

Two weeks, and counting...

Okay, final update.

The day before yesterday, I finally got my Kronos back. The screen had been replaced and my babe is as good as new.

It took three full weeks to have it back, which to me is more than I can bare. I really do hope I never have to send it in again.

Which brings me to a final note. When I sent the Kronos back, I had fiddled the small cardboard pieces in place in front of the keys to keep the keybed aligned and away from the edge of the chassis. When I got it back, the cardboard pieces were not there. No misalignment as far as I can see though. Go figure.

My Kronos 61 is just two months old and a vertical green line has suddenly appeared on the display from top to bottom. Rebooted several times but makes no difference. Have contacted the supplier (UK) and waiting to hear back to get it fixed!

Update:- Display screen now replaced under warranty by Korg UK - all is now fine. Was without the keyboard for about a week, so not too bad at all!

Same thing happened when I returned my Kronos to Korg UK for repair. I sent it to them with the cardboard in place, they returned it without them.
