Triton rack drumsounds change

Post by Tony Tak »

I have a triton rack for 3 years and until now it's a great machine!
Since 2 weeks something strange happens.
In my self programmed drumkits (which I use for 3 years now) some settings (eg. sample, level) changes random. It seems only for snare instruments.
After reloading drumkit it's ok for some minutes, then it changes again.
I think it's not a battery issue because other settings (PCG) seem to be OK.
Anyone the same problem?

Are you running any EXB cards for these snares - possibly shaking loose or not clipped in properly?

TT

Also, my gut feeling re: dying battery is that you'd lose RAM completely rather than seeing a new value if that were the case, so to me that doesn't seem the likeliest scenario.

Hi BB,

Thanks for your reply.
There is a exp. board inside (piano) but that isn't used for drumkits.
Yesterday it went wrong again. I'll switch it on today and see if the drumkits are really reprogrammed or maybe it's only in the edit buffer.
