MS2000R - how to turn off effects easily?

Is there either:
1) A FX Global off somewhere?
2) A fast way to turn off the effects for any given patch I call up?

The only thing I see on the face is the MOD/Delay switch; Speed/Time; Depth/Feedback (which don't control its on-off state);
and finally when you press EDIT then button 12 or 13, there are effect selections there, but no "OFF" option.

What am I missing?

I just want the patches DRY DRY DRY
then I'll add my own offboard / Live / VST plugin effects to my own tastes.

Any help would be appreciated here.
I've had this thing for a year and I still stumble through making simple edits. It doesn't behave like it should, IMO.

The control on the right 'depth/feedback' acts like a Dry/Wet control. So the effect is completely turned off when the knob is turned all the way down.
