Hi all, for any other 70's prog rock keyboard fanatics out there, I've made a great online discovery. Check out http://web.agria.hu/kepenu/
It's loaded with dozens of prog rock .mid 'standard midi files' available for download. The ones I've played with have been very high quality especially in regard to synthesizer solos and keyboard parts. I've been spending a lot of time working with the Genesis ones (which seem to be the most complete set including all of The Lamb, Foxtrot, Nursery Cryme, etc) but you'll also find .mid files for King Crimson, Yes, ELP, Gentle Giant, Tull, Camel, Pink Floyd and more.
They're fun to listen to and great learning tools as well...just load them into a notation program that reads midi files (I use the free download programs MuseScore http://musescore.org/ or Anvil Studio http://www.anvilstudio.com/index3.htm) and print them out...they're great for sight reading or studying theory.
One important thing, the http://web.agria.hu/kepenu/ website that hosts the files appears to have not been updated since 2004 so some links are broken and who knows how long it will remain accessible, so go check it out soon.
Have fun!
