Sound Technicians, and PA Nerds :)

Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a happy new years eve.
I was wondering if anyone of you could help me with this:
As I am experimenting with sound on my PA800, I have a sound which I added effects and everything I want, but I cant save/write it.
To be more specific:
On the Sound's main page the Poly box is unmarked and the Mono box is marked and so is the Hold and Legato box.
I want to save/write the sound as it is. but the problem is when I save it, the sound is saved with the Poly and not Mono.
What am I doing wrong here?
