Bend range Combi mode

Post by Tomy »

Hey Guys,

I'm a little bit irritated by the use of Bend range in combi mode.

So, i understand it so, that when you set -12 as value and i press the

joystick to the left (-X) it goes one octave down.

Instead it goes one octave up.

Did somebody know why?

Greetings

It's simple math... why are you irritated?

-12 x -1 = +12

You have to set the bend rand to +12... moving the joystick on left will go down, moving up will go up.

Hey Thanks for the fast answer.

Where comes the -1 from.

I thought when you put a value in bend range in combi modi, the kronos

ignores the program value. So, for me it's not logical.

Could you please explain, the stuff with the -1?

Thanks

The "-1" is the result of shifting the joystick to the left instead of right. As you mentioned in the first post, it is "-X" --> -1*X.

Positive values in the bend range parameter will result in the "normal" behaviour - right to pitch up, left to pitch down. If you enter a negative value here, it will act exactly the other way round.

Hey Jens,

thanks a lot....:)

Sometimes it's so easy, but you must know how it works...Now, it's clear.

Did you know, if it's possible to use in combi mode 2 value for up and dwon bending? like i can do it program mode?

So, for example when i put the jostick to the left that i can bend -12 and when i put it to the right i can bend 2 semi tones up?

Cause, it's very uncool to do it separte for each program, that i use in combi mode...

Thanks a lot
