MIDI PROBLEM , CAN YOU CONTROL DIFFERENT APPS SEPARATLELY?

Post by Ivan1928 »

Hi there , this is my first post . english is not my native tonge so i will try to expose my problem as good as i can.

well i have the iMS-20 the iPolysix and the ikaoss , also im using a microkorg as a midi controller with the iRig midi . so i like the ims20 for making the bass , and the polisix for other instruments and the kaoss for making the beat ( all running with background audio). . for example i open the kaoss , make a drum pattern , then open the iMS-20 to make a bass line so far so good. the problem is that when i open the ipolysix to make another melody , when i use the midi controller , it plays simultaniously the bass patch on the backrunning ims-20 app , and also the synth im actually working on the polysix . the only partial solution i have found is to mute the other aplication so i can listen only to the one i am working on , but thats quite a problem since i would like to hear the other app also meanwhile i compose on top of that melody ( being the bass in this exampe). so is there any way to choose the controller to affect exclusively only the iMS-20 or the iPolysix? , maybe using the audiobus app or other alike. please hope somebody can help me . Thanks.
