good idea!
I will add a few dubstep sounds. The MS-20 is perfect for that.

Thanks for the suggestion :)

I think it worked with syncing. Would be great if you could make one Michel! I could send you an mp3 as an inspiration?
that would be nice, i will send you a private message with my email address.

These sound fantastic, Qui, just loving the first 3 sounds on the video especially. Anything ambient and dreamy is just my thing.

Can't wait!

Many, many thanks again.

thanks :)

i hear that a lot, people want more and more ambient / electronical sounds for the kronos. I've asked in the past what kind of sound people want for the kronos since i was planning a dubstep library and hardstyle library for instance. But there wasn't much interest in that. So it's good to know what people want :)

The most requests at this point are more ambient sounds and ambient / electronical and dance / trance combis which is obviously fine by me :)

So i want to thank you all for the suggestions (also all the people that sent me emails or private messages), i try to give a reaction on all emails but there are really a lot of messages so sometimes it takes awhile. But i'm happy with every suggestion you sent to me. :)

So focusing on this MS-20 set the suggestions till now are:
- extra dubstep programs
- a wah wah type of lead
- more ambient programs

Are you really sure that you don't want some extra FX patches that shows some patch panel configurations?

Qui,
As stated earlier Thank you for including us in your brilliant work, I myself think all your work in great. If I had to choose what to ask for I would say 80's synth leads would be my 1st choice.
Thanks Santa Qui
Best Regards,
Tim

So Q, as you know, I'm really a fan and do own and use all your free but also "commercial" sets= all of them sound great...

Of course, any ambient cool polyphonic pads will be wellcome... I mean textured and evolutive pads ...

Would it be also possible to create a new industrial noise rythmic pad? I love your wavesequences!!!...

i've added one now, it's great.

Also i created some really nice saturated old skool acid like Saw and Square presets. Those turned out so great, i was jamming for more then two hours yesterday with all kind of 303 patterns on those sounds in combi mode. It sounded like a 90's acid festival.

i'm going to record a demo of one of my 303 like combis with these saw and square sounds this weekend because i really want to let you hear a different site of the kronos! That made me think, i'm adding an acid combi to the combi bank i'm working on. Also i will convert 24 extra 303 pattern and arps into KARMA GEs for the Combi Collection that i'm working on, since i really think these patterns do magic to the Saturated sounds!

Eh Qui,
when will S&R (approximatively) be released?

You're also talking about a new collection of combis??? :?: :D :D :D :?: [-o<

I think it will be worth releasing combis... cause there are a lot of third party progs... maybe too much... and, in fact, there are not so many basic collections of combis (2 from KLab, Enne from SoP, which both are released with factory progs, but all the others as your "Massive Pads" or SoP combis for Protein, or any other like Karo's or Kid Nepro's, use new progs and sometimes new samples, which make things uneasy to manage!...)

i think the reason that there aren't that many combi collections available is because of the time it takes to create a good combi collection. A program collection can be created much faster.

But you are right, there will be a collection of combis which i'm working on for a year now. I really like it and i'm constantly finetuning it. There are piano performance combis (where you can play the piano and KARMA does the rest), Kitaro style combis, Enigma style combis, a few jazz / soul combis and some dance combis.

The combis are using factory sounds and my own sounds (the free soundsets released until now) which i combined to one bank. Also the package contains a lot of new KARMA GEs which you also can use for your own combis. These KARMA GEs are for different styles, like 303 patterns, dance patterns, a huge amount of ambient arpeggiator patterns, bass patterns and a lot more.

so there will be various styles in it, but most combis are electronical / ambient since i know that most of you want those kind of combis :)

Those are very good news for us...
Of course, one can release his own combis (I've done a few with my Forge samples converted to Sf2 then progs that I've karmaified) and it's quite easy with the "copy from prog" function and quick mapping of each element... but it's really something else when trying to have a really deep RTC programmation! :( :? :!:

yes,
in the past i've asked suggestions for the combis on this forum, and there were several request for Kitaro like combis, so that's why i added them.

There is one combi that is especially nice which starts with a Harp sound and has great leads like a flute combined with a violin like sound and also a distorted lead guitars for the bridge. The bassline is having a great Jean Michel Jarre kind of style sequenced pattern.

It's a little bit like acoustic meets electronic in that case, it gives a very special flavour to the sound and makes it really unique and fun to play with.

no sorry for that, the combi set will be a premium set on my website, so it's not free.

Main reason for this is that a premium set takes a lot more time to develop then a free set. So i look how much time a soundset takes to develop, when it's a reasonable amount of time then it will be free, is it a really large time then i make it a premium.

But as you probably noticed, there will be free sets coming as long as i have the feeling that people can use them. On my website there are 7 free sets when i release the Shiny and Rough set and three premium sets.

The combi collection already took hundreds of hours development time, it isn't only the combis but also all the custom KARMA GEs. As i said before, creating good sounding combis does take a huge amount of time, it's not only the programming but also the idea you need to have how the combi has to sound (they are kind of song templates) and the sound design phase. So in my opinion that's the reason why there are so few combi collections available on the market.
