Whose getting on your nerves?

I've been on the net since before most people had heard of it and I don't think I've ever put anyone on ignore yet with the exception of a few gold spammers in a few online games I play.
I agree with the Ignore ... however a button to notify a moderator for a spam post might be easy for the moderator to track spams ... however I have to say there are very less on KorgForums.

However we already make quite an effort to track spam fairly quickly. It's not like it's going for months unnoticed.

I approve of however everyone else wants it, so long as sharp and the other mods are willing to do it. If an ignore feature is easy to do, that would be nice for those who want it. I can ignore anything I want by not hitting the reply button, and I don't really need to be protected from the blabbering of fools that I choose to ignore. Fortunately, most members here aren't fools, so even when I entirely disagree with them on certain points, I still enjoy reading their point of view.

It might be useful to consider what features might be available to deal with spam better. Limiting the number of posts by new members in some reasonable way could throttle most spammers.

Ditto. Workstations should take precedence over everything with the exception of the about this forum category.

Both feature are standard in PHPBB3. Since this upgrade is planned, you should have it.

How about a small + or - at the start of each category section?

So for example if you dont want to see the option in the arranger section you could click the - and they would colapse down to make the overall list smaller.

I view the forum on a netbook sometimes so it would save me having to scroll down through all options on a smaller screen.

You can click on a sub forum header and it collapses the other forums..

That helps a little but it would be nice if you could collapse only the sections that you are not interested in and save these settings so they are restored the next time you visit the forums.

Yes I agree,it would be nice to actually customise your preferences to suit your viewing habits, there are many forum sections I have never used or viewed and have no intention of neither, would be great to remove them from your viewing page.

Hi,

Sharp, thank you for the better new structure.

One more idea: alphabetical order within the Categories. This would help to find the topics inside.

:D

I mean, a part of the list looks like this now, for example:

Korg Triton Classic
Korg Triton LE
Korg X-50
Korg Triton Rack
Korg Karma
Korg Trinity

I think it would be better like this, not? :

Korg Karma
Korg Trinity
Korg Triton Classic
Korg Triton LE
Korg Triton Rack
Korg X-50

Much easier to find anything.

Maybe it is also time to bundle the four separate Triton sections into one Triton section, perhaps subdivided in the current four Triton sections?

Don't see your logic Akos - to me your suggestion wouldn't be a good as its not chronological. What's your thinking?
