Quarter tones are used in arabic music. We do use the standard western scales, like minor and major scales, but also some scales that require certain keys to be tuned 50cent below normal tuning. This will cause the scale to have a quarter note in it, instead of the usual whole notes And half notes.joshhuntnm wrote:I'd get the non qt version. who needs quarter tones?
