Kontrol 49 / TR Rack programming question

Post by tcwild »

I'm new to MIDI controllers, and I know the answer to my question is buried somewhere in the manuals; but I'm asking it anyway, in hopes that it is a simple answer.

I don't have any issues getting the sliders/rotary encoders to do what I want with the FX, and have managed to get the Main Encoder to change programs (and the SW1/SW2 to increment/decrement the selected program); BUT I haven't figured out how to get the Bank Change incorporated into either one of those. What I would like to do is to program the pads to do the bank change, and ideally to go to a specific bank and patch combination.

How do I do that?

TIA... ;)

You already know where to find the answer.

I wondered how long it would take for the first non-answer. :(

You know, I get more real help about my Korg rigs from other forums than I've gotten here.

I won't bother you asshats any more. I love my Korg equipment; but this forum is a complete waste of my time.

Your refusal to seek out the most obvious source, which indeed has your answer, is your problem, not mine. You could have had your answer by now. I gave you an answer. It's a good one. I know it's not what you want. You want us to do your work for you. It isn't helpful for anyone to give you info that you can easily find for yourself with minutes of effort. If you can't bother to try to read the manual, then I won't bother to give you the answer that you want. I know the answer. I could give it to you right now. But I won't. We help lots of people who have trouble after reading the manual and giving it a good effort. If you show no effort at all, then it's pointless to waste our time trying to help anyone who isn't making a reasonable attempt to help themselves. Our time is better spent answering questions and solving problems that are not already in the manual. If you don't like that, too bad for you, huh. You'll see that many others thank me and others for solving their problems. That won't happen for you. They deserved help. You don't.

Your bitching about the answers you've received here is bullshit, anyways. You've only asked two questions here before and received good answers to both of them, including one thread that was only answered by me.
