Balanced out?

Post by Bartel »

Hello,

A simple question for which I don't seem to find the answer on the net:

Does the Krome have a so-called "balanced out"? I need to know if it makes sense to buy a balanced jack cable or not...

Thanks,
Bart

EDIT:
It seems the Krome has unbalanced outs (according to the manual). So let me rephrase my question: how do I decrease the hiss on my monitor (HK Pro 10 xa)? Could this be related to the quality/length of the cable (6m)? Or is there something wrong with the grounding in my house?

The problem could be any number of things. The length and quality of the cable is certainly a consideration. I would use a high quality shielded cable for that length. Also don't run it on top of power cords and supplies if possible.
