Hello.
I've been recently trying to reduce latency on my laptop and now want to take it offline when I am using my DAW. However I discovered that WS Legacy gives me a license error when I'm offline. Is this correct that every time I boot the WS Legacy it has to log onto a Korg server for permission?
Even the most protective companies I know Steinberg and Sibelius dont make this a prerequisite of running their software.
If I open the project before shutting down the network card it behaves normally.
Please explain.
Best regards Tee.

If you're disabling your wireless/network connection completely on your laptop, the OS will see it as a missing component - a component that was included in generating the system ID that was used in challenge-response. So of course if you disable it, the plugin will not be able to correctly verify the licence code.
Even if you're NOT online and can't find any networks, make sure you have your wireless/network enabled, and this will alleviate the issue.
