Why is there such volume differences between patches?

Post by ZenSonic »

Hi, I am sorting though the various patches and combis sometimes late into the night on my Kronos 61 and am waking up the neighborhood when I forget to put the volume down to zero and work up from there when selecting a new sound. Why are there such disparities in volume between patches?

Hi. I don't know if you are aware of this. If you select your programs and combies from a set list, within the set list on the edit page there is a place that you can specify the volume and save it there. That way you can easily balance the volume between all your programs and combies. The setting of the volume from the set list does not change the main volume setting for the programs and combies though. If you you select the programs and combies directing without using the set list, you would still get them at the original volume and not at the toned down volume.
