I had an accident earlier this year where my tex fell off the back of my stand and crashed on the floor, falling on its back where the sockets are, though on a carpeted floor, it also hit the metal bottoms of the stand legs aswell. I feared the worst but it appears to switch on and play ok, though I havent done anything else with it other than that.
Are there any other checks I can do just in case there is some unobvious damage done somewhere?
Also are these extremes built well compared to other synths and has anyone else had a similar accident whereby theyve needed to do further checks with it.
anyone else had an accident with there tex without....

Ouch ... never had such an accident ... my TEX case has been broken on the sides because one time I let it fall in a too small flightcase (only from a few inches height).
What you could check is if all connectors work ... probably if it is soundwise good, memory/cpu etc is still in full functional order.
