Sound artifacts similar to too low ASIO latency settings

Post by Grambambuli »

I received my Kronos X 88 today and did some short testing before I had to go to work. Unfortunately I got some hissing artifacts with almost all Combis and Programs I tested. It sounds similar to the artifacts as if the latency setting is too low in the ASIO driver on the pc using VSTs. I didn't have time to reboot or check other outputs (used headphones). Could this be software or settings related or did I get a defective unit? I hope not

Thanks, would be a great solution. Definately better than sending in the unit for some weeks. :)

A hissing sound is more likely to be caused by the rear audio input gain knobs being all the way open.

Ok, works well now. The noise was gone even before the update.

Now let the exploring start. :D
