iOS 7 compatability
Hi there!
I've read the FAQ and back through a few pages of posts and can't find anything to do with iMS-20 running on iOS 7.
I've been running the beta for some time now and it's coming closer to the release date of the new iOS, so I was wondering if an update was due out soon?
Any information would be great, I'd love to have the app working again!
Thanks!

I had the same issue. In fact, this is the reason why i ditched iOS 7 GM. It tends to start, but when it wants to load the UI/interface, it crashes. I hope there will be a fix soon. Btw, the Korg iMS20 is not the only app that is crashing, so it has something to do (ofcourse...duh) with iOS 7 itself.Bald Eagle wrote:I don't have any info on it but am curious too since I have the iMS20 and iPolysix from Korg. What exactly is failing? Does it not work at all or starts up and crashes after a while or what?

I came across this post in the audio bus forum. Here's the link and an excerpt.
http://forum.audiob.us/discussion/1999/ ... ios-7-waitHi folks,
We're on the cusp of iOS 7, and we're here to urge caution: If you rely on music apps, please don't update yet.
iOS 7 audio is not ready. There are a wide variety of bugs that are causing performance problems, crashes and other problems in a large number of music apps.
This may change in the future, but until we see a few point releases for the OS, we strongly urge you to stick with iOS 6.
Cheers,
The Audiobus Team
WArNING from Audiobus. There are major flaws in the ios7 audio platform and if you use your ipad ect. for making music they are advising to not update to ios 7 until further notice. It is not just ims-20 but many music apps and this is just one of many reasons I will not be updating. You also need to have over 3 gigs to download ios7 which I simply can not spare on the Ipad mini 16 gig. Booooooo!!!

That didn't really answer the question though.fred_mackay wrote:Update to the app via App Store. Thanks Korg iTeam!Bald Eagle wrote:What was the resolution? Was it an iOS fix or an iMS-20 fix?fred_mackay wrote:CAN CONFIRM ISSUES RESOLVED AND APP IS WORKING PERFECTLY!!!!
Were you using an older version than the current, or did they issue an update in the last few days?
Thanks in advance for the clarification.
