Is there a way to turn off velocity for a particular patch? To be specific I am trying to make the synth brass respond as if it was played on a keyboard with no velocity on board, just on/off like an organ

Just found this out... in case anyone else is searching for it, the answer is:

1. Hit "Touch" button
2. Hit Favorite button 8
3. Hit "Touch" button again

alternatively, download the SV-1 editing software and set it from there.

some SV-1 patch's increase filter brightness as velocity goes up... using software makes it easier to select the level you want (0-127).
