weird "feature" ?

Post by section4 »

Help ! I have a weird "feature" on my Kronos that I can't figure out.

When using a MIDI sequencer, If I have a droning sound playing on ch 1, If same key is played on any other channel it will cut off the sound on ch 1.
If I change it to ch 2-16 it works as it should. Tried using the internal sequencer and it worked as it should. Altohugh the droing tone got cut off while I recorded the other channel and struck same key but when played back it all played nicely.

Don't want to shout the word "bug" yet, but I haven't had this issue before and the only difference is that I've upgraded to 2.1.0.

Anyone that can replicate it ? (In my case I played A#2 for 2 bars on ch 1 and hi-hat on ch 11, when the open hi-hat on A#2 played the drone was dropped)

Other than that I'm happy with cute graphic that keeps me company during boot and a really nice update to CX-3 ! Thanks Korg ! Only a screensaver missing now..
