LFO to control amplitude?

How do you get the LFO to modulate the amplitude? The front panel buttons only seem to let you choose filter and pitch

each timbre has 3 patch points in the menu, assign one to the amplitude. hit page up or down then hit piano, that should bring you right to the patch section

I read up in the parameter section about all the virtual patching. Wouldn't it be cool if someone could build a physical patch panel that would send the KingKorg the commands necessary to do the virtual patching!

I was also surprised that LFO was only easily assignable to filter and pitch, and then you had to menu-dive to get to VCA.

The KK really screams for an editor. The app being discussed in this thread looks like it could be a great solution for this kind of thing. http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... hp?t=86620

yes and no, the whole "it would take you hours to make the patch you want" is BS if you know your way around, but it can create tons of new patches based off of your existing patches, and that sounds great.

It is definitely faster to program the KK from this app (fast overview and fast jumping bwteen parameters) than using the hardware knobs. Those are great for live use and adjustments on the fly.

So it could hardly become much better than now - except for the uswer wish to get at least one more envelope and perhaps some more possibilities in the modulation matrix.

Clearly, someone has figured out how to program the KK by sending it commands over midi. Why won't Korg make that info public? I am a professional software engineer, I could easily build an editor if I only knew which commands to send...

Maybe "hours" is hyperbole, but it can be a lot quicker when you aren't limited to a two line window, can see multiple settings in context, and can more easily jump to parameters directly without having to step through all the menus.
