RADIAS Envelope Follower midi cc transmitted out?

Post by mickeyziggyk »

Hi

I'm having a ball with the RADIAS envelope follower, does it transmit externally via midi?

Alternatively, if assigned to filter cutoff, does the changing position of the filter cutoff transmit?

I had a look in the manual, but it is not clear whether this behaviour is transmitted.

Envelope Followers are so useful, it would be amazing if it is possible to transmit as cc midi data.

Hi,

According to me it is not possible. Typically only physical controllers on the board that you can move/turn/..., to tweak a sound during a performance, generate MIDI CC.
It's like asking to have MIDI CC events for the LFO or EG output. Can be very interesting though to use on a next device, but it would generate a lot of data. It is no longer events but continuous control data stream.

Ciao.
