Internal Trimpot?

Post by Mr_Sulcus »

Hello,
Picked up a Monotribe a few months ago and set about doing some mods. I noticed there's a trimpot on the main PCB, anyone know what its for?

I think it is a VCA trimmer, not worth tweaking it.

That's what Korg said too. But didn't explain what it controlled/what would happen if I did tweak it.

If you tweak it you will probably find that it just affects the sound going into the VCA, my guess is it is either a DC offset trimmer or a simple level trimmer, if the former you might need a scope to re-set it properly.
