iMS20, patch conversion for legacy?

Post by petervh »

Greetings,

I am thinking of buying iMS20. Is it possible to share patches with MS-20 Legacy? I would be very interested in using the iMS20 app for creating legacy patches, as the legacy GUI has some issues...

Alternatively, does anyone know of a lemur or touchOSC legacy control template?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, you have to do it by hand.

It's still useful though as I don't travel with my Kronos, so I often use the iMS20 for designing sounds away from studio, copying them in later takes a little time but it's possible to develop an efficient technique to do it quickly.

I'd imagine it would be pretty similar for the legacy MS20. However keep in mind that iMS20 isn't exactly the same thing - it has a sequencer and drum parts and a bunch of effects, none of which is found in the Legacy plugin nor in the Kronos MS20.
