Freeze and weird error message

Post by Mr_SamDoogie »

For some reason the Microstation freeze suddenly while playing a sequence,
Luckly that sequence was save restarted it loaded another sequence after a while it did nothing and showed on the display a weird message.

E:216 T:-1 L:026
DAPI/cosglue.cpp

I've got this a few times now :( and yes my microstation has the latest firmware since I got it.

Thus microstation needs an update

Post by Mr_SamDoogie »

The link means that the problem has not be properly addressed thus meaning the microstation needs a better memory management.

As is described by BradKorg he said it is because the microstation gets to many commands at once which is not the case with me playing a sequence make the message appear occasionally.

So to me the problem is not solved Korg should release an update for the MS. Or address the problem properly in the FAQ.

I can't have the MS getting stuck during a session.

If you can replicate the same problem over and again at the same circumstances and the SEQ processing/work memory is not over 80%-90%.
It could be some instructions/commands in the sequence caused the processing glithes.

You can email KORG US support with the sequence that cause the problem, hopefully KORG can investigate it.

And if you can upload the sequence at sendspace.com so I can test it on my mS, if it'll causing the same error.
