Faulty Korg Stereo Output/Headphone Jack?

Post by james7891 »

Right, so I recently purchased a Kross 88; overall I'm pretty happy with it and love the sounds/keybed/etc. But in the past few days I've noticed that when headphones are plugged into the jack, sound generally only comes out of one ear (occasionally, and seemingly randomly, I can get stereo). This isn't a problem with the headphones because I've tried three or four different pairs now. Similarly, the outputs at the back only seem to deliver through one speaker. Again this isn't a problem with my cables, because I've tried several. I was wondering whether anybody else was having this problem, and if anybody has managed to solve it?

Does it happen similarly with all different Programs and Combis?

Just for the record, my Kross-61 is sounding better to me ever day.
Maybe I'm getting used to the touch of the keybed (set on V curve 9)

As far as I can tell it happens with everything. It's significantly more noticeable on some of the electric pianos, unfortunately these are the sounds that I use most often.

What's really annoyed me is the fact that I've already returned and replaced one Kross, which had a faulty light. And now this keyboard appears to be malfunctioning as well...
