I have a new ipad mini (birthday pressie!), and would like to explore using it with my Kronos. I've read that a camera connection kit is required; could someone please explain what this is, or how to begin my learning curve? I already have my eye on the Gadget app, and the Yamaha Drum/Synth one as reviewed here last year. Thanks!

Previously loved Yamaha SY77, Roland SH101, and other various musical instruments!
I actually originally bought one of those 3rd party adapters for like $20 and had tons of problems with it. It was constantly showing disconnection errors whenever I would try to use it (either in CF or USB mode - it was a combo adapter). I ended up just tossing it and spending the extra $10 and buying the Apple one. I've had no problems with the Apple adapter. IMO, it was worth the extra $10.
Thanks everyone, I will look into that!
Anyone wish to share what you are experimenting with when using iPad with Kronos?

Will be using animoog and the Korg apps mostly.
