Korg PA50SD - Setting pedal for Joystick

Have the PA50SD and was wondering how to set the pedal to operate the joystick? Damn instruction book says you can but doesn't say how.

In Global-Edit Page3 select P/S (Pedal/Switch) with one of the functions (Joystick+x, -x, +y, -y)

I've done that. Just can't get it to save. How do you unlock the current settings and then save the changes?

In GlobalWrite press enter twice.
