Transpose Micro X from another Master Keyboard?

Post by randallpatrickc »

Hi, just got my first Korg - a Micro X from ebay - luscious sounds in a tiny footprint!

Can someone tell me if I can use it with a master keyboard in such a way that when I transpose the master keyboard, the Micro X keyboard transposes as well?

I'd like to mount the Micro X on top of my Roland RD and use it with my LH but I'm not a good enough player to do without the transpose button in some keys yet. Obviously I can MIDI out to the Micro X and use it's sounds triggered from the Roland k/b but I'd like to be able to use the Micro X k/b as well without having to go into the Global dialog via the screen.

afaik it's not possible.

There was a discussion about it recently on the Kronos board too.
