iOS 7.1 update makes iMS-20 crash when opening patch bay
Since the update to iOS version 7.1, Korg's iMS-20 app (v1.6.3) crashes when you open the patch bay (by double-clicking on the "voltage controlled amplifier" square). I learned about this from another user, and confirmed it on my iPad 2 and iPad Air.
@dswo:
How does your iPad 2 behave with other apps after installing iOS 7?
Is it significantly slower, os more or less the same as iOS 6?
The reason I ask is I heard some complaints about more sluggish performance on iOS 7, so I'm reluctant to upgrading myself. But if he new iOS 7.1 presents no problems, I'd love to upgrade, so that I can install Korg Gadget

I'm happy with the upgrade. What tipped me over, though, was the "goto fail" security hole in 6.x: a real problem if you use public wifi. The only fix for it was to upgrade to 7.x, so when 7.1 came out I moved. 7 does use more RAM for the OS, so I'm sure there are some things you could do on your 6.x OS that won't work with 7 (probably involving more than one app). But I like it so far.Hugo wrote:@dswo:

Ok, thanks for the insight. I think I'll still hold off updating until I know for sure the iPad 2 can handle my workflowdswo wrote:I'm happy with the upgrade.
