My CUBASE won't "Quit" with padKontrol USB plugged

My CUBASE won't "Quit" with padKontrol USB plugged

I finally got my padKontrol controlling my CUBASE Transport. However, When I try to "Quit" CUBASE it hangs up. I can Quit CUBASE only if I unplug my padKontrol USB. Or, "End Now". Then my changes don't save. Does anyone know why this is happening and a fix?
