Using sliders as drawbars in Combination Mode
I want to set up a Combination in which the sliders only control a CX3 instrument and not have any control over any other instrument in the combination. I'm having difficulty figuring this out. Any suggestions?
Thanks

It's much simpler than the post above would imply.musicbysterling wrote:I want to set up a Combination in which the sliders only control a CX3 instrument and not have any control over any other instrument in the combination. I'm having difficulty figuring this out. Any suggestions?

Tone Adjust only controls one Timbre at a time, and the selected Timbre is saved with the Combination. Simply set the Control Surface to Tone Adjust, select the Timbre that you want to control (you can use either the screen or a hardware shortcut; see the manuals for details), and save the Combination.

Not with one button. You'll have to change the selected timbre, which requires a few more presses.
You could possibly set the timbres up next to each other, e.g. 1/2, then when you open the combi, jump to the control surface page and select the timbre selection on the right. Then you would only need to click ones to switch back and forth. Closest I can think of.
