No sound output...
The sound on my TRITON LE just plain doesn't work anymore. One day I used it in the morning and it worked just fine, and then in the afternoon when I used it again the sound outputs didn't work.
I have tried all the outputs together and separately and I double checked the damper pedal and tried it unplugged.
No luck, and I need my keyboard for my job... I'm a music teacher.
Any help?

I pulled this info from the Triton LE Basic guide: http://www.iub.edu/~emusic/361-old/bin/ ... cGuide.pdf
The ones colored RED are what you should try looking into.
No sound
• Are connections made correctly to your amp,
mixer, or headphones?........................................☞p.12
• Is your amp or mixer turned on?
• Is Local Control turned on?
In GLOBAL 2.1: MIDI, check the “Local Control
On” check box..............................................☞PG p.128
• Is the [VOLUME] slider raised? ...........................☞p.5
• If there is no sound from the OUTPUT
(INDIVIDUAL) 1, 2 jacks, make sure that “BUS
Select (IFX/Indiv.Out Assign)” or “Bus Select”
following the insert effect is set to 1, 2, 1/2....☞p.108
• If specific tracks in Sequencer mode do not
sound, Make sure that the “PLAY/MUTE/REC”
or “PLAY/MUTE” is set to PLAY....................☞p.67
• Make sure that the “Status” is INT or BTH. ....☞p.68
• Are the “Key Zone” and “Velocity Zone” set so that
sound will be produced when you play?..........................................................................☞PG p.64

Thanks! I was about to look into all of these options, so I turned it on and got this error message for the first time.
SYSTEM ERROR
file:../../source/hardmanager/ckbdmgr.cpp
line #190
Error Code: 97 decimal, 61 hex
FILESYS_BAD_HANDLE
Current Task ID: 0
This is displayed right over the words TRITON Le KORG on the diplay...
I'm new to KORGS (very familiar with YAMAHA, so I really have no idea what to do)
Any help with the error codes?

Best thing I can suggest is a factory reload if you can get into the global menu. Looks like the OS had some sort of failure. If a factory reset doesn't work then perhaps see if you can download the latest OS and install it but you will need a CF card to do that.jcampbell wrote:Thanks! Hmm well I am glad its back to working, but thats odd and you may expirience that problem again in the future. Do you have the SMPL card installed and/or memory? If so make sure all connections are tight.

Tim
