Bass Drum sounds like a synth

Hi-my Bass drum has lost it's bass drum sound- it's now more like an extra synth note getting stabbed- Any ideas? ta

It's okay- thanks anyway I managed to work it out........ Gosh it's very cold and empty in here........ and the dampness. Hmm- so quiet. Hello..... anyone there?
