PRELOAD & Option Demos

Post by jackh »

I'm curious.
How many of you have loaded & listened to the PRELOAD demos, and listened to the option demos on korg.com?
Are these demos inspirational?
Do they provide you with a "sense of what the instrument is capable of" ?
Is it still worthwhile for Korg to provide them?
Are the free option banks useful for you?
Comments are welcome.

I am a regular reader of this forum, but hardly ever post anything. However, as nobody has responded, here are my responses.

I loaded the demo songs when I first got the Kronos in 2011 but hardly ever since then. I had already heard them from the website in the 4 months from placing the order waiting for delivery. However, I think I got a better idea of the instrument's capability from YouTube demos and the one time live demo (and I got to play it) by a Korg rep in a shop.

For someone like me who has not yet (after 2 1/2 years) mastered all the Kronos can do, what would be really great is a tutorial showing how a demo song was created!
As for option banks - if you mean like the free organ bonus bank KRS-06 I think that it is brilliant - yes more please.
