Volca Beats internal speaker dead?

Hi, I have only had my Volca Beats since August 1st and suddenly the internal speaker has stopped working. I have seen some threads on here suggesting to blow the headphone jack out with compressed air, and I have done that, but it did not seem to help. I have also made sure that the Beats has fresh batteries and I have performed a reset to factory defaults. What else, if anything, could cause this? Very disappointing.

I take it I am screwed...

Well, here's hoping the Korg warranty claim process isn't too painful...
