Font size
I'm slightly visually impaired, enough that I have troubles reading Kronos screen. I understand there is a new OS option to increase screen font which sounds great.
I don't have Kronos but I might consider it if this would help me. Could anyone let me know how the bigger fonts look like in practice? Is there an image or video around to see the actual difference?
Thanks.

It goes quite big, fast forward to 1:24 on this vid...I think it is just in the SetList though, not everywhere.

yea - the overall font changes are fantastic. I'm not visually impaired, but the way I play my kronos live (facing forward down around waist high), I'm often looking at a very extreme angle at the screen - it's so much easier to read the screen now than it was before.

no - it's all over. The font itself is different, too. The characters are wider. They're easier to read, IMO. Some of the things like the tabs across the bottom appear to use the old font, but a lot of everything else (and almost the whole global section) appears to be using the new font.Carin wrote:Thanks. So is it just on the Setlist screen? I was hoping for a larger font on edit screens. If it is the same as before, this is a dealbreaker for me.

Hi Carin,
I have severe diabetic retinopathy that cost me my left eye and damage to my right eye. For me personally the changes in font size outside of Setlist Mode were of very little help. I would agree that the font is different and may be somewhat clearer, but overall I still find it difficult to edit the Kronos. The fact that you can not reverse the color scheme to get rid of the glare of the white background, makes the font change of little help for me. I know that my case may be extreme, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

I wear trifocals and often struggle to read computer screens and such. I find the new Kronos font easier to read. Still not the greatest, but improved.jeebustrain wrote:no - it's all over. Basically, the font size was adjusted slightly larger in the places where it would fit, for the most part. In some places, the old font is still used.
The Set List is the only place where you can actually increase the font size to be larger and larger. In the rest of the interface, it's either the slightly larger font, or the old font - and you can't change that.
Note that there is also a setting in the Global Mode for "font smoothing" - you may find one of the settings (or off) to be easier to read than the others.
