Selling styles

Post by Yipsiotis »

Hi.

I'm thinking of making a few styles for the pa600,
Does anybody know a good site, where you can colaborate and sell these?
Don't mind starting out with giving them for free...

I can set up a website if a few are ready to create (at least 10 authors).

1. $9 onetime registration fee for sellers and
2. 13% fee for each sale

What do you think about this?

thank you.

At least one replied. Unfortunately, I can not start working on the website, unless I see a handful of supporters. Otherwise, i will lose on bandwidth and domain charges.

jimsweb is nothing personal, reply is in general.
Is never easy, this is how works, in any business you need to invest first, is a gambling, sometimes you will successful , sometimes you lose.
The point is if you only see way to make money, you will trying cut cost to minimum or nothing, then your website become only source to make money.
You need involve a little passion, you need to enjoy it :)
Running website with items for sale is not just website, is require many additional paid software, dedicated servers, encrypting security payments options etc.
My cost of website at this moment is about $55 a month + my time and I didn't sale anything sell anything yet, at least not directly on web.
BTW is websites they already sell styles, but they not popular, because of people is scare to buy if they not sure the product is what they look for, did you ?
Some website sell korg style without specification what exacly is it, we all know a differences between models.
Personally I never buy style if I don't see sample of in action.
This is why I hold on with mine until I have all samples, videos before advertise them.
I don't wanna my customers to be unsatisfied .

Hi I just bought two excellent Korg PA styles from www.d-o-o.de:

1/ Avicii - Wake me Up
2/Juanes - A dios le pido

Then I loaded them into my Korg PA 600 and waow! Excellent orchestration...Good stuff...

Hi Jim

Just a polite note:-
You may wish to apply to have your status changed to "Approved Merchant" (e.g. like Nemik) on these forums once you set up and commence "selling" your website product services to forum members (Sharp would be the appropriate contact).

Cheers
