That's right. As far as I understand, it would be a waste of space to save a stereo sample that has the same information on both channels.Olivander12 wrote:Yes, but stereo samples do not automatically sound different than mono samples. If you have a sample of a kick drum, its volume is usually equally loud on the left and the right. So if you make a track with stereo samples without any panning information, it sounds the same as the same track with mono samples.
Yeah, you can assign all modulation sources to pan.22tape wrote:does anyone know if you can assign lfo to pan? or are there panning fx?
WOW....more failure in the Korg Marketing department. How awesome and only 3 weeks away from delivery.roblabs wrote: that's also why he can't answer your questions, SMK.
Jame Pullen was far more helpful. The only thing was, James, admittedly, is not a live looper...I was posit similar questions in hopes that Tom, is a live looper or sampling live is part of his work.
So Tom is a Korg rep?
Alright. Why couldn't he at least written a response answering some of these questions.
Again, many thanks to James Pullen for stepping up!

Well, this is not even the worst thing they did. They also released unfinished products, then stop selling them in big parts of the world. To make it even worse, they also sent random release dates to resellers and did not make any offical statements.SMK wrote:

Stop selling to other parts of the world...so that really is happening?Olivander12 wrote:Well, this is not even the worst thing they did. Send Random release dates? I am thinking, like with the E2, Only a few top Resellers are getting any real communication from Korg. Isn't it possible that other online sellers are just BSing their customers? Guitar center and Musicians Friend proved to be guilty of this.
I can't agree that the E2 is unfinished...it was quite complete when it reached my door step and sounded better when I installed the new firmware.
I am wondering if the answer to my question about Korgs Marketing stratagy are just staring me in the face. I can see how when a new product comes out being met with some highly intense criticism can really confuse the marketing team;"look at what they said about the E2...damn, what the hell are they going to say about the ES2?"

I believe he's just an artist that's been hired by Korg to do the voicing of the new tribes.SMK wrote:So Tom is a Korg rep?
Check the parameters guide for factory patterns list:
all patterns by Shrike should ring a bell.

This is genuine. These videos I am uploading are audio demos of the patterns I have made for the presets on the new electribe sampler.

My electribe2 lousy patterns and stuff | KORG gear: NTS-1, nanoKEY2, electribe2/2S, WS/SR, WS/EX (on storage)
Ahhh that makes sense. So he's like a Mistabishi.Poumtschak wrote:I believe he's just an artist that's been hired by Korg to do the voicing of the new tribes.SMK wrote:So Tom is a Korg rep?

Well, again...I don't see the damage in him talking about the capabilities of the Sampler, but, oh well.
At least we have James Pullen!
