Yeah, I'm sorry, I didn't know where to post it actually and it seems there's lots of good spirits and activity going on here, so I figured I'd put it here. Didn't mean to break the theme.wasstof wrote:I Thought this thread was "Non-Dance Music"!!?...circuitghost wrote:So I didn't plan on this to be a four by four track, but it kind of ended up being that anyway. For better or worse, I'm sharing it cause I'd appreciated feedback, but maybe I'm doing this all wrong.
Anyway:

I'd DEFINITELY Dance to that!
Doesn't Sound like just an e2 and it's called volca tribe, so what else are you using in this mix?
Whatever, I like it!
All the same, many thanks for your kind words

So basically, there's two magic tricks going on here, despite all sounds being from or originating from the Electribe:
- Drums are played and sequenced from the Volca Sample, but originate from the Tribe.
- This means freeing up polyphony and stuff from the Tribe, letting the amps, fx and all roam free. So the synth sounds are allowed to be slightly richer and smoother, not being cut off by priority in polyphony.
And it all runs on batteries.
Gotta love Korg for that.
