Unable to Install 3.0.2 - how to proceed?

So I'm trying to update to 3.0.2 to no avail. All I get is the stupid "files cannot be found" error message.
I've done everything suggested here. Several times. Fresh USB stick. Formatted on the Kronos to FAT32. Tried two different sticks.
The problem seems to be in the download. First time I downloaded the file, I couldn't transfer over the folder called "MNT" from my PC to the stick. It kept hanging up.
So I re-downloaded the update (several times now) and now every time I do that the MNT folder is empty.
Is there another site other than the one Korg redirects to that has the OS update? Because this one obviously isn't working right.

have you googled for this 3.0.2 mega thread ? On page 14, there are posts about the exact files
http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... &start=195
Maybe someone can take a look at their 3.0.2 d/l and check out their MNT folder. I have archived all my files from last yr and don't have easy access to the OS

Thanks for the reply!
Yes, I looked through that thread. I get all those files in the download, the problem is that the first time I downloaded the update the MNT files were apparently corrupted and now the folder is simply empty. Since the Kronos can't find the update files, my best guess is that it has something to do with those missing MNT files (of which there were hundreds inside the folder and subfolders originally) since everything else seems to be intact and I don't see where I am doing anything incorrectly on the physical end of things.
And yes, that's the site I'm downloading the update from. I've also tried downloading it on two different PCs and that didn't help either.

good to hear ! I went ahead and dl'd 3.0.2 and MNT is an empty file folder ( as it should be). I did not have any problem copying that empty folder from my desk top to a USB thumb drive.keywhiz61 wrote:Nevermind. This morning, it worked. enjoy 3.0.2 !
It was strange. The first time I downloaded the update, the MNT folder was definiately NOT empty. It had various folders and subfolders and when I tried to move it to the stick, it said there were 460 files that needed to be copied. And it just hung up.GregC wrote:good to hear ! Yes, the folder is supposed to be empty (or at least appear as such? I suspect it might have hidden files?) What I was doing wrong the 2nd time around was not including the original zipped files (the .gz one) along with the opened files. Once I did that, everything was fine.
So, in the end, it was human error. As usual.
